Use it as a pre-wash treatment. Warm a little between your palms, massage it into the scalp and lengths, and leave it for an hour or overnight under a cap. Then shampoo as normal.

Batana oil is thick and dark, so a little goes a long way. For example, one scoop warmed in your palms covers a full head of shoulder-length hair. It also works on dry ends between washes when mixed with a light leave-in. Keep the jar closed and in a cool place, because heat softens it.
