Which one should you buy?

How to tell if your American Dream is original

• Price that is too good to be true. Very cheap tubs from unknown sellers are the most common source of fakes.
• Packaging. Look for clean, sharp printing, a properly fitted lid and a sealed tub. Smudged print, spelling mistakes or a loose seal are warning signs.
• Texture and smell. The original is smooth with a consistent cocoa or lemon scent. Grainy, watery or oddly scented cream is a red flag.
• Where you buy. Buy from a shop you can visit and that stands behind its stock.

How to get the best results

Apply to slightly damp skin straight after a shower, when it absorbs best. Use it once or twice a day. For dark patches, the Lemon with Kojic works best with consistent daily use over several weeks; if those areas get sun, sunscreen helps stop them getting darker.
