Caring for stretch marks
- Massage in a rich cream or butter daily, such as Palmer's Tummy Butter or the Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks.
- Seal with an oil on damp skin after showering: Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil.
- Be consistent. Twice a day for at least 8 weeks.
What to expect
New stretch marks (red, pink or dark) respond best; they soften and fade toward your skin tone. Older, silvery marks can be improved in texture but rarely disappear with creams alone. In pregnancy, keeping the skin moisturised helps with the itch and tightness as it stretches.
Dark knees, elbows and underarms
For larger areas, use a body fade product like Palmer's Skin Success Fade Milk or American Dream Lemon Cream with Kojic. Moisturise well, avoid harsh scrubbing, and protect exposed areas from the sun.
